Rasta is the newest addition to my clan, courtesy of Karen Hindson. With my involvement with the Leonberger clubs it was only a matter of time before I got sucked in and I must say, it was seeing photos of and then meeting Rasta's father Tau that initiated the rethink of my "Berners only" stance. Rasta is a beautiful girl, she has been an absolute breeze to raise and is a joy to show, even with the total lack of any show training. Rasta recently became the first Australian bred Leonberger and the first bitch to win Best of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show. She's an impressive sized girl, being about 76 cms tall and 60kg's. Luckily she's a very calm and quiet girl (most of the time!). Rasta pictured right at 8 weeks. |
